Motoko Travels to Nashville!

Motoko took it to the next level at Bitcoin Nashville with its largest IRL debut to date! The iconic Motoko Ghost was introduced to thousands of attendees through billboards, the Motoko Man mascot, Motoko toy prizes, and more! Interest from people outside the ICP ecosystem was incredible, painting a bright future for the Motoko brand! A huge shoutout to Klac as well as Kyle Langham and the Dfinity team who put in an incredible amount of effort to make this week so special for Motoko.

Motoko Billboards Light Up The Street of Nashville

Beautifully designed electric billboards and street signs were visible in and around the event venues in Nashville for all to see. There is something special about seeing an icon that has been close to you for a long time displayed so prominently at a conference not directly associated with it, but rather seen as a legitimate player in the larger Bitcoin ecosystem.

Motoko Claw Machine is Massive Hit at Bitcoin 2024

At the main event conference hall, people were literally lining up to get their hands on a Motoko. Hundreds of Motoko plushies were won by event attendees in the custom Motoko-branded claw game. You could spot strangers all over the event walking around with plushies clipped to their backpacks not long after the games began. It is safe to say that many parents came home from that trip with a new toy for their child to love unconditionally. The effect of the claw machine was amplified by the opportunity to win the super plushie! All attendees had to do was post a funny, creative photo of themselves at the booth for a chance to win this mega-toko!

Motoko Man Makes Debut Appearance

The Motoko Man mascot—played by PeregrinexHQ—had his schedule optimized so that he could attend all major events and parties! Motoko Man could be found during the day at Inscribed Nashville, Bitcoin Builders, and Bitcoin 2024, meeting attendees at the Chain Fusion booth, putting on a show with the Ordinals Pizza Ninja mascot, and interviewing Ordinal enthusiasts. It didn’t stop there; he also came alive at night, partying with ICP OGs at the Chain Fusion happy hour and brushing shoulders with top ecosystem leaders and founders at the Magic Eden afterparty!
